We continue to put our customers at the heart of what we do, however we will have to do things a little differently following the new lockdown announced on Saturday 19th December.
Please see below changes to the delivery of our services which are in line with current Welsh Government guidance.
As Welsh Government guidance is updated all the time, we will regularly review our services and keep you informed of any changes through our website and Social Media (Facebook and Twitter).
- We will not be carrying out viewings, lettings or allowing mutual exchanges and transfers at this time.
- We will still allocate homes to people in emergency circumstances e.g., risk of homelessness, moving on from supported living, refuge, or temporary accommodation.
- All non-urgent repairs will be postponed.
- All emergency repairs will be assessed and carried out.
- External planned works will continue e.g., fencing, sheds, external painting.
- All internal planned works will be suspended unless in an unoccupied property.
- All safety and compliance checks will continue – e.g., heating service, electrical tests, asbestos re-inspections, and any remedial works following a safety check. It is essential you allow us into your home to complete this work.
- Communal areas (internal and external) will be closed to all customers and visitors (the only exception being to walk through to reach a destination).
- Visits can only take place in line with Welsh Government guidelines e.g., a carer carrying out personal care or making a food delivery is allowed.
- Hairdressers will close.
- Meyler House is closed to customers.
- Our telephone and email services are open as normal.
Our teams are all working hard to deliver as many of our services permitted in line with Welsh Government guidance.
Please bear with us during these challenging times, we are doing all we can to keep our teams and customers safe.
