Welsh Government (WG) have recently decided to postpone the implementation of the Renting Homes (Wales) Act until the 1st December 2022 to allow more time for landlords to complete the necessary preparations.

There has already been lots of work going on across teams at ateb to be ready for implementation on the old date (15th July 2022) but we are grateful for the extra time WG have given everyone.

Over the next couple of weeks our Renting Homes (Wales) Act Project Group will be reviewing the implementation plan and timetable.

We’ll make sure to keep all teams and customers regularly updated and informed over the coming weeks and months as we lead up to the new implementation date of the 1st December 2022.
