Cost of living and fuel poverty update March 2023

ateb team members have been meeting monthly to oversee and co-ordinate how we support our customers during these challenging times and deliver on the ideas co-produced with our customers at a cost of living and fuel poverty forum last October.

There has been some amazing work going on to support our customers, including;

  • 38 households given financial assistance from ateb, through the Financial Assistance Fund.
  • An average of £197.50 given to each household.
  • Over the last year our Home Energy Officer has provided energy advice and support to 333 ateb households.
  • 2 events held in Feb 2023 providing advice and support on dealing with the rising cost of living.
  • We have joined the National Databank and can now provide free mobile data to those in need.
  • Plus lots more…

This is just a snap shot of the great work taking place to support our customers every day.
