Here at ateb, we invest in our staff by providing them with a wide range of learning & development opportunities. In December 2022 we partnered with Talk Training, a recognised market leader in the delivery of Apprenticeships in Wales. Talk Training have delivered over 25,000 apprenticeships and currently have 500 apprentices in learning whilst working with 130 companies. Three of our team; Julie, Jess & Sarah have recently started their training qualifications, here’s what they have to say about how they’re finding their courses:
‘I firmly believe that you are never too old to learn so was delighted when the opportunity arose to complete a fully funded ILM management qualification which will help my personal development. The support given through our individual assessors and workshops has been great and I am looking forward to completing the qualification in the near future and seeing what opportunities it opens up for me’. Julie
“I appreciate being given the opportunity to do this course. I feel it will help me with possible future aspirations into a management position. The tutors are all really friendly and the assessors are supportive and approachable”. Jess
“I am doing an NVQ4 in Advice and Guidance. This qualification will enable me to give a better service to ateb customers. My talk training assessor is really reassuring, helpful and supportive. They are very experienced in our field of work and I can approach them whenever I need to if I need assistance with anything. This NVQ 4 is great because a lot of the work is focused on the job and the assessor can come to our workplace and observe us doing what we do everyday”. Sarah
This is just one example of how ateb invest in our teams to ensure that we create better living solutions for our customers. We have a lot more exciting opportunities in our learning and development plan for this year with training courses ranging from Sharps to Hate Crime training so watch this space!
