Scott Griffiths & Jason Pannell – Kitchen Fitter Apprentices
Scott and Jason joined us in September 2016 after applying for the positions online.
They are both studying an NVQ Level 2 Maintenance Diploma at Pembrokeshire College on day release one day per week. On completion of this qualification they will progress onto an NVQ Level 3 in Carpentry.
“Having worked at Tesco and as a Special Constable, I wanted to apply for the apprenticeship because it provided me with full time work whilst gaining new skills in Carpentry and providing me with a trade that will stay with me for life. My mentor Rob Matera-Byford has been fantastic and provides me with on the job training and support.” – Scott Griffiths
James Wostenholme – Apprentice Accounting Technician
Having previously worked at Tesco James joined us in December 2016 after seeing our advertisement on indeed.com
James will be starting the AAT Level 2 with Pembrokeshire College in September 2017 on day release and will continue on to his level 3 and 4.
“I applied for the apprenticeship because I wanted a finance career path and this was a good route into it. I have joined a busy finance team and have been made to feel extremely welcome. I have already received training on a number of finance software applications and I am looking forward to putting this into practice when I start college and throughout my career.” – James Wostenholme
