At ateb, we believe that better living starts with a place we can call home. But a home is more than just four walls – it’s a safe, secure foundation from which people and communities can thrive. The ateb Trust was created to help make this vision a reality by supporting projects that enhance wellbeing and create opportunities for those who need them most.

What is the ateb Trust?

The ateb Trust is our grant-giving initiative, designed to fund ideas and projects that empower communities and improve lives in the areas we serve. By using a percentage of the gift aid received from Mill Bay Homes, we aim to support those who share our purpose: creating better living solutions for all.

Grants of up to £1,500 are available for projects that align with one or more of the following goals:

• Helping communities become self-sufficient and resilient
• Regenerating neighbourhoods through social, economic, environmental, and wellbeing initiatives
• Supporting older and vulnerable people to remain in their homes and communities

There will be three funding rounds each year.

• Rounds in which groups can submit their applications will be open during the following months – July, October, and January.
• Applications will be considered in – August, November and February.
• Funding will be awarded – September, December and March

Application Process

• Who Can Apply?

  We welcome applications from:

  • Constituted ateb Tenant and Resident Associations
  • Third-party not-for-profit organisations

  Applications must demonstrate how the project will benefit ateb people and communities, ensure long-term impact, and align with the Trust’s purpose.

• How to Apply

  Applying for a grant is simple:

  • Complete the Application Form– Provide a clear project plan and cost breakdown (up to £1,500).
  • Evidence Impact – Show how your project will make a difference and remain sustainable.
  • Submit Your Application– Applications will be reviewed by our Customer Committee, and funding decisions will be based on the alignment with our goals and the available budget.

  The next funding round opens in January 2025, so get ready to bring your ideas to life!
