Our Growth and Partnership Manager, Nick Garrod, recently attended an insightful event hosted by PLANED and Cwmpas to discuss the future of Community-Led Housing across Pembrokeshire and West Wales.
Nick commented, “It was a fantastic opportunity to connect with others passionate about creating affordable, community-driven homes, and I was especially pleased to see the inspiring Nolton and Roch Community Land Trust (CLT) project featured. The initiative is looking to develop 19 affordable, low-carbon homes for local people, with ateb proud to be supporting its progress”.
The enthusiasm in the room was clear, with many communities eager to explore how they can set up their own housing projects. ateb is committed to helping bring these ideas to life, whether by offering expertise, accessing funding opportunities, or delivering new homes that meet local needs.
We’ve attached the event slides [here] for more insights into funding options, development models, and the process of creating a successful community-led housing scheme.
If you are Interested in starting a Community-Led Housing project in your area, please get in touch with Jonathan Hughes at Cwmpas or Sarah Foster at PLANED who can help.
