A huge congratulations to Julie Edwards, finalist at this years Womanspire Awards 2022.
Julie who works for atebs Development Team was nominated for the Learner of the Year award following the completion of Chwarae Teg’s Agile Nation 2 Career Development Programme aged 63 years young!
Executive Director for Development Will Lloyd Davies commented “Julie is such a wonderful talent, someone that always has something to contribute with the attitude that it’s never too late to learn. I was thrilled to hear that she had reached the finals and she should quite rightly feel very proud. I know we are!”
Since completing her course Julie has revolutionised her work life balance, which involves caring for parents and grandchildren.

Chwarae Teg Womenspire Awards highlight’s women overcoming barriers and supporting other women to achieve and prosper, and to inspire future generations.
Now in its seventh year the awards took place at the Pierhead Building, Cardiff, whilst being simultaneously broadcast to thousands via ITV Cymru Wales’ Facebook Live and Twitter streams.
Julie commented on the event “It was absolutely awesome, there were ten categories and just to be nominated, to be counted amongst those people was amazing. Some of the stories, the things those women had done was truly inspiring. People from all backgrounds and walks of life were included. It was such an honour to be in the room with all those inspirational women”.
