Repairs & Maintenance Service Update

Latest Update 09/08/2021

Our repairs service is operating as normal.

There may be some delay as we clear the back log of previous non-urgent requests delayed due to COVID-19

Latest Update 05/07/2021

We have restarted non-urgent repairs.

There may be some delay in completing these as we will still be prioritising emergencies and safety checks while also clearing the back log of previous non-urgent requests.

As Coronavirus restrictions relax and we continue to expand the repairs service we provide, thank you in advance for your patience and understanding during these unprecedented times.

We understand you still may have some concerns about repairs restarting within your home when our team or a contractor visits your home. They will still notify you in advance of arrival, maintain a safe distance and follow strict hygiene procedures. Please check out our useful video on what to expect when we visit you home.

We still will not carry out repairs in any household that is isolating, unless it is to remedy an immediate emergency. If that is the case, we will continue to carry out the work in line with our risk assessments and safety guidance.

Please report repairs as normal but before you do, please check to see if it is a landlord or a tenant responsibility.

Update 07/05/2021

There have been no changes since our last update on the 22/12/2020.

Update 22/12/2020

We continue to put our customers at the heart of what we do, however we will have to do things a little differently following the new lockdown announced on Saturday 19th December.

Please see below changes to the delivery of our repairs and maintenance services which are in line with current Welsh Government guidance.

  • All non-urgent repairs will be postponed.
  • All emergency repairs will be assessed and carried out.

Please report emergency repairs as normal but before you do, please check to see if it is a emergency.

We still will not carry out repairs in any household that is isolating, unless it is to remedy an immediate emergency. If that is the case, we will make arrangements to avoid any face to face contact, for example when answering the door, asking you to move to a different room and wearing PPE in line with our risk assessments.

  • External planned works will continue e.g., fencing, sheds, external painting.
  • All internal planned works will be suspended unless in an unoccupied property.
  • All safety and compliance checks will continue – e.g., heating service, electrical tests, asbestos re-inspections, and any remedial works following a safety check. It is essential you allow us into your home to complete this work.

As Welsh Government guidance is updated all the time, we will regularly review our services and keep you informed of any changes through our website and Social Media (Facebook and Twitter).
