We are thrilled to announce that our Retrofit and Planned Maintenance Team led by Rachel Howard has received an award for Engaging Customers in Environmental Initiatives/Projects for ateb’s Optimised Retrofit Project (ORP) at this year’s TPAS Cymru Good Practice Awards.
This remarkable project, which will span three years, aims to enhance energy efficiency and support our customers on the path to decarbonisation and ateb’s mission of Net Zero.
The awards ceremony and gala dinner were held on the 3rd of July at the Leonardo Hotel in Cardiff and Rachel Howard, our Retrofit and Planned Maintenance Lead, expressed her gratitude and pride:
“To have been recognised in the top 3 finalists at the TPAS Cymru Good Practice Awards for our engagement with customers on environmental initiatives is a great achievement for the team and shows the hard work that has been done to bring as many customers as we can on the decarbonisation journey with ateb.”
Rachel continued, “In the coming years, there will be more energy efficiency and decarbonisation work being carried out on ateb’s properties as part of the standard planned maintenance programs. Our customer engagement will become increasingly important as we strive to reduce the amount of energy our customers require from the grid to stay warm and safe in their homes.”
Well done Rachel and her team!
This award is a testament to our commitment to sustainability and our dedication to involving customers in environmental initiatives. It underscores our belief that better living starts with a place that we can call home — safe, stable, and secure.
We are incredibly proud of Rachel and her team for their outstanding achievement and their continuous efforts to make a positive impact on our communities. This recognition inspires us to keep pushing forward, innovating, and working together to create a better future for everyone, in line with our DNA of #GetThingsDone.
Stay tuned for more updates on our projects and initiatives as we continue to make a difference in the lives of our customers and communities.
